After a successful startup phase, the British retail chain Hotel Chocolat wanted to expand on the Danish market as well as conquer the rest of the Nordic countries. This expansion required a partner that could provide them with an omnichannel solution which offers customers a great and smooth buying experience. In came Fiftytwo.
We are very excited to be working together with Hotel Chocolat and Retail Brands on this project. They fit perfectly in our strategy about going Nordic and we are looking very much forward to supporting them in developing and expanding their business.
- Henrik Salicath, CEO, Fiftytwo.
The ambitious expansion strategy from Retail Brands includes opening a new store, either Hotel Chocolat or Swarovski, every month from mid-2019.
Thus, a scalable omnichannel solution gives them the opportunity to expand their POS solution when needed. It allows Retail Brands to manage prices across all sales channels, connect with existing business systems and permits the business to develop as it steadily grows.
Retail Brands opened their third and fourth Hotel Chocolat in August and September 2018 in collaboration with Fiftytwo. Besides that, they have five Swarovski stores so far.
Fiftytwo is proud to have been qualified, benchmarked and chosen for this assignment. All Hotel Chocolat store, as well as future Swarovski stores, will have the omnichannel solution, 52RETAIL, from Fiftytwo implemented as an integral part of their business.
At Retail Brands they are also very satisfied with the new collaboration:
In Fiftytwo we found a partner with a profound knowledge about retail. At the same time, they offer the best solution for our kind of business which combines pure retail and cafés. On top of that, Fiftytwo has some impressive references from comparable customers.
