OK Plus had long relied on a self-developed DOS-based POS system that became unstable as more features were added. A later attempt to base the POS on an ERP system also fell short, as key knowledge disappeared during staff changes. 

For a chain with busy franchisees, reliable IT is a business-critical necessity. OK Plus needed a proven POS solution for convenience retail that could guarantee uptime, support a full chain setup, and give franchisees flexibility within a defined framework.

After a thorough evaluation, OK Plus chose Fiftytwo and the 52ViKING POS solution.

The solution was tailored to the franchise setup, featuring customized menus and layouts that support the way OK Plus retailers operate. It integrates with third-party systems such as Safepay, payment terminals, and the accounting platform e-conomic, highlighting its strength as an integrated POS system for convenience retail. 

Implementation was completed in just three months across all 70 stores, an unusually fast chain-wide rollout for a nationwide convenience chain. The rollout succeeded through close cooperation.
